Career
More than 25 years of professional experience at the intersection of business, products & services (technology), and people. Throughout his career, Robert has gained extensive experience across a wide range of roles and organizational settings, including expert positions, staff functions, and many years of leadership responsibility for both permanent teams and project teams. His work has involved close external collaboration with clients, partners, and suppliers, as well as intensive internal cooperation across numerous organizational units. He has held various roles such as Strategic Product Manager, Marketing Manager, Business Group Lead, Business Development Manager, and Partner Manager, and has worked in industries including electrical measurement technology, energy technology, telecommunications, and IT. Since 2011, Robert has been self-employed as a management consultant, trainer, and coach. He understands negotiations from multiple perspectives: internally within organizations and externally with partners and clients – across innovation management, business management, sales and purchasing, partner management, as well as in diverse projects involving people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. His consulting focus lies in the combination of people, business, and technological innovation. Key areas of expertise include communication, leadership and organization, digital transformation, and currently in particular artificial intelligence. Robert places a strong emphasis on digital transformation and AI in business and organizations. Together with his fellow trainer Martin Strasser, he supports companies on their AI journey. With the mission “Lean AI in Sales & Purchasing,” they help organizations apply AI purposefully in procurement and sales, and to initiate or further develop their AI journey.
En GardE Focus
Robert Lampl leads various En GardE training and workshop formats, in particular the program “Besser verhandeln – mehr erreichen” (“Negotiate Better – Achieve More”) and the “Corporate Negotiation Strategy” program. In addition to training, he conducts coaching sessions and supports teams as a consultant in negotiation processes. Currently, Robert is also responsible—together with his fellow trainer Martin Strasser—for the topic of AI in negotiations. Both have played a key role in developing this topic at En GardE in close collaboration with the Managing Partners and continue to drive its ongoing development in this dynamic and innovative market environment. In addition, Robert lectures at universities and universities of applied sciences.
